**Position Summary**

**General Manager Research and Partnerships**
- Located in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH) is looking to appoint an experienced, senior level manager to lead the delivery of research and foster collaborative relationships with various health care providers and training institutions to support the facilitation of research and clinical trial opportunities.- Based within easy commuting distance from pristine beaches, snow-capped mountains and large regional townships, Gippsland offers an abundance of adventure, a community atmosphere, education facilities, hiking, boating and beautiful scenery. This opportunity presents a chance to make a ‘tree change’ for professionals looking to relocate from the congestion of the city, or to those looking to expand their breadth of experience.- Reporting to the Chief Nurse Officer, the General Manager of Research and Partnerships will develop a research plan for LRH including the expansion of clinical trial opportunities. This role will oversee the internal and external research communication, generation of annual research reports and provide the Executive team with accurate and timely information.- We are looking for applicants who have proven experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of research and in the implementation of clinical trials at a health care service level. Applicants with a Doctorate qualification and/or a research portfolio, inclusive of grant achievement and publications, would be highly regarded.**Why work for LRH?**
