We have a part time opportunity for a **Building Services Supervisor **to join the team based out of our West Perth office. The Building Services Supervisor’s role is to manage and supervise renovation, alteration, extension, improvement or repair of a building works being undertaken by sub-contractors to required industry regulations.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Responsibility is extended to ensuring compliance with any planning and building approvals (e.g. compliance certificates, building permits) is held.

Responsibilities include:

- Compliance Site Inspections
- Undertake planned site inspection’s) to validate Subcontractor invoice claims.
- Raise Business Improvement Forms (BIFs) for all non-conformances identified during inspections and follow-up completion of outstanding corrective actions.
- Provide a Monthly Inspection & Auditing Report detailing the all the Inspections completed during the month with commentary and trend analysis of non-conformances raised.
- Operational Management
- Ensuring works are completed within the project completion timeframe and to required quality standards
- Safety
- Promote and adhere to all Downer Zero Harm requirements

**ABOUT YOU**
- Experience working in the domestic building industry, including familiarity & understanding of domestic building statutory obligations, codes of practice, Building Code of Australia and Australian standards
- Experience in formulating "Scopes of Work" knowledge of work planning and scheduling procedures
- Experience in the supervision and monitoring of sub-contractors and suppliers
- Experience in OH&S management on site and full understanding of OH&S regulations
- Valid driver’s licence is essential
- Must be a Registered Building Practitioner under the Building Services (Registration) Act 2011 (WA)
- Industry Induction White card.
