ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Equity & Inclusion Manager to join our People & Culture team. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will finalise and implement a comprehensive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) strategy, champion DEI priorities, and collaborate with various business units to drive internal DEI strategies and elevate Screen Australia's reputation as a DEI leader.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Diversity and Inclusion, or a related field.

Proven experience in developing and implementing DEI strategies and initiatives.

Strong knowledge of DEI best practices, trends, and industry standards.

Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of employees and external partners.

Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to diversity and inclusion.

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

Demonstrated commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Experience in the screen sector or a related industry is highly desirable.

Ability to attend relevant events as required.

This role would suit a passionate and influential professional with a drive for leading change. You will be a credible business partner who can build positive relationships across various stakeholders, underpinned with your impressive knowledge and experience in current diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

The benefits

In return, you will receive a salary of $125,465 + 15.4% super, work in our modern offices in Ultimo, and become part of a collaborative, high-performing and creative team environment.

Please note that while at Screen Australia, employees cannot access any state or Screen Australia funding, in addition to freelancing on any Screen Australia productions.
