**What you'll do**:

- Provide accurate and timely, customer-focused recruitment advice, both verbally and in writing.
- Process all employment opportunities and police checks.
- Accurately prepare job advertisements, expressions of interest (EOIs) and letters of offer.
- Liaise with Payroll to ensure that all requirements are met for the onboarding of new employees.
- Monitor, action, and screen enquiries through the eSafety recruitment inbox.
- Contribute to the development of recruitment strategies, policies and ideas for continuous improvement of processes, systems and procedures to improve recruitment and attraction practices while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and APS policy and practices.
- Coordinate child safety checks and audits.
- Perform other duties as required.

Note: While this role does not involve direct exposure to harmful online material due to the nature of eSafety’s regulatory scope, occupants may hear stories about other people’s experiences with online harm. Staff have access to support through our Employee Assistance Program and other wellbeing initiatives and training.

**Skills and capability we need**:
You will enjoy collaborating and building lasting relationships with across eSafety and the ACMA HR and Communications Branch, and your ability to understand the needs of the business and provide solutions efficiently, is crucial to your success.
- Strong organisation skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience managing competing priorities and a high-volume workload.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve common goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a client-service mindset.
- Sound judgement and an understanding of when to escalate issues where required.

Prior recruitment experience in the APS and the ability to navigate various HR systems will be highly regarded.

**About our team**:
The eSafety Business Operations Branch plays a pivotal role, alongside the ACMA, in providing corporate services to eSafety, and includes:

- Financial management including budgeting, financial accounting and financial compliance.
- Governance and Planning including corporate planning and reporting, internal audit, risk management, general enquiries and child safety.
- Strategic HR support related to workforce planning, census action planning, attraction and retention, diversity and inclusion, capability, wellbeing, leadership and culture, and operational end-to-end recruitment support.

The eSafety recruitment team provides end-to-end APS recruitment support including providing advice to hiring managers, support with planning recruitment activities, processing recruitment and onboarding paperwork and looking for innovative ways to improve recruitment practices for eSafety.

While the team supports eSafety and works closely with the eSafety HR Business Partner, it is embedded within the ACMA People Operations Team.
