Dog Walker/handler

We are a well-established dog walking and doggy daycare business located in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, and we're seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our growing team as a Dog Handler/Walker. This position is part-time, offering three days a week, providing you with the perfect work-life balance.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Relevant experience with animal handling and behaviour
- Industry qualifications / certifications (Animal Studies, Training & Behaviour, Vet Nursing) are highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience and comfort in handling, socialising and caring for dogs of various sizes and temperaments in groups
- Sound understanding of dog behaviour, principles of dog learning, and a commitment to positive reinforcement is again highly regarded
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a genuine ability to connect and build rapport at all levels
- An unconditional love for animals and a passion to make a difference to the lives of our clients' pets, even if for an hour
- A strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to work autonomously whilst contributing as part of a close-knit team
- Must have drivers license and reliable transportation to commute to work
- Valid working rights in Australian
- Permanent 3 weekdays, can be flexible
- Must have an Australian Business Number (ABN) to work as an independent contractor

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 18 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Maroubra, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
