Dog Walker/handler

We are a well-established dog walking and doggy daycare business located in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, and we're seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our growing team as a Dog Handler/Walker.

This position is part-time, offering three days a week, providing you with the perfect work-life balance.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Relevant experience with animal handling and behaviour
• Industry qualifications / certifications (Animal Studies, Training & Behaviour, Vet Nursing) are highly regarded
• Demonstrated experience and comfort in handling, socialising and caring for dogs of various sizes and temperaments in groups
• Sound understanding of dog behaviour, principles of dog learning, and a commitment to positive reinforcement is again highly regarded
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a genuine ability to connect and build rapport at all levels
• An unconditional love for animals and a passion to make a difference to the lives of our clients' pets, even if for an hour
• A strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality
• Ability to work autonomously whilst contributing as part of a closeknit team
• Must have drivers license and reliable transportation to commute to work
• Valid working rights in Australian
• Permanent 3 weekdays, can be flexible
• Must have an Australian Business Number (ABN) to work as an independent contractor
