**The Role**
Reporting to the National Business Manager, the State Account Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the Independents and Convenience Channel. this role is an ideal step up for someone in a National Account Executive role wishing to take a step up and gain more customer facing exposure, whilst using strategy and insights to shape decisions.
**Day-to-day tasks include**:
- Being the first point of contact for customers
- Promotional planning
- Implementing key seasonal strategy
- Forecasting
- Data analysis and interpretation
- Promotional and display implementation
- Revenue generation
- Using systems and processes
- Liaising with stakeholder such as the NAM, NBM, NAE and Account Execs
- Customers call cycles, including travel to WA
**Skills & Experience**
- FMCG sales background highly desirable
- Experience of data analysis and forecasting
- Scan data experience such as IRI, Nielsen, Quantium desirable
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to travel and work autonomously on occasion
- Strong commercial acumen
