- Location: Macquarie University Wallumattagul Campus (North Ryde)

THE ROLE

The Lecturer in Management will have scholarly expertise in any subfield of management, including entrepreneurship, human resource management, international business, operations, organisational behaviour, or strategy. The successful applicant will work across all areas of academic activity, including teaching, research, engagement and service. They will conduct high-impact research, teach undergraduate and postgraduate students, and supervise research students. They will make a positive contribution to the Department’s culture of collaboration and innovation, support delivery of strategic goals and enhance the reputation of the Department, School and University.

The successful applicant will have industry knowledge and a PhD in management. You will have a research program in a relevant area and a track record of high-quality publications. You will have proven ability to deliver applied and engaging educational experiences and to take a collaborative approach in the way you work with others.

Essential selection criteria- A PhD in management or equivalent.- Strong contributions to scholarship and research in management areas such as entrepreneurship, human resource management, organisational behaviour, operations, or strategy.- Proven, high-quality research in management as indicated by publications in high-quality, journals (Rated A* or A in the Australian Business Deans’ Council journal ranking list).- Record of teaching excellence and involvement in course development.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated commitment to teamwork in the discipline, and a strong sense of professionalism and integrity in matters related to all academic activities.
