IAC Australia manufactures, supplies, and installs a variety of acoustic products and solutions across Australia and the South-Pacific region.

Our projects range from acoustic doors and windows, soundproof rooms, vent silencers, audiology booths and rooms, and mobile equipment, and we have a strong market presence in the following industries:

- Power, oil and gas;
- Mining and Marine equipment;
- Power generation and Commercial Construction;
- Anechoic chambers, test facilities, hearing and sound booths and chambers.

**About the Role**:

- Key Responsibilities and Duties will include:

- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and manuals.
- Operate tools appropriate to the job.
- Some lifting and moving of materials.
- Follow established safe work procedures and instructions.
- Follow instructions offered by Senior Staff members.
- Assemble IAC Acoustics products according to drawings or instructions supplied by the Foreman and Operations Manager.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment.
- Report unsafe practices to the Operations Manager, as soon as practically possible after they occur.
- Work in accordance with the IAC Acoustics Quality Assurance system and help to maintain a high-quality standard.

We are seeking someone with a Trade qualification in boiler making / sheet metal work, with experience in: Stainless steel MIG and TIG Welding Reading engineering detail drawings The following attributes will be highly desirable but are not essential: Any experience with acoustics products.
