Allianz Australia is looking for a
**Capital Management Actuary**; the primary purpose of this role is to provide for the effective execution of Allianz Australia’s capital management framework under APRA regulation and the provision of advice to senior management on capital and risk related business decisions.
Reporting to the Head of Capital Management the key areas of responsibility will be to:
- Evaluate capital impacts of strategic business decisions and provide clear and actionable insights to senior management.
- Develop and improve the internal capital model and its business steering capabilities.
- Assist the Head of Capital Management in the preparation of key Board reports and presentations.
- Support solvency monitoring, forecasting, and stress testing processes.
- Support strategies to refine existing processes and implement better efficiencies.
- Develop and oversee more junior team members.
- Relevant qualifications (FIAA or equivalent).
- Superior actuarial and problem solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to think laterally, show initiative, and work autonomously.
- Strong project management skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively to tight deadlines
