About the role

We’re seeking an Asset Maintenance Lead as part of a key position in the road and tunnel network that will see you lead, deliver, audit, evaluate and report on activities occurring in or impacting upon both the roading and tunnel assets. The position will involve a mix of office and field-based activities and will be on a 12-month fixed term basis.
- You’ll join an innovative and highly supportive team on the frontline of life at Transurban Queensland (TQ) Assets business.

As our Asset Maintenance Lead, you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work.

Day-to-day, you will:
- You’ll be the eyes and ears of the road and tunnel network and will take ownership of assets and responsible for conducting assurance activities and promoting best for network results-
- You’ll undertake programming and assurance activities across the Tunnel and Roading Network, inspect and report on asset condition and quality of Maintenance works-
- You’ll identify safety and or environmental risks and make corrective actions where required-
- You’ll review and process Service Requests, liaise with the relevant stakeholders to action the requests, supported with a high standard of work order management within our AMIS system (Maximo)This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
- Flexibility with work hours and be able to respond to emergency situations as required, out of normal working hours to meet business needs along with flexibility to attend and lead out of hours Tunnel Shuts and night shifts-
- You’ll have a proactive approach with strong safety and environmental focus-
- You’ll bring your experience with infrastructure construction and maintenance’ including roads, bridge, tunnels, pavement, drainage, ITS, facilities and electrical-
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills-
- An understanding and experience utilise MAXIMO - maintenance management system-
- You’ll have proven ability in monitoring and providing advice on road, tunnels, bridge and electrical stream maintenance programs to maintain a high standard of asset service-
- You’ll have knowledge of maintenance practices and traffic management on highly trafficked roads-
