An exciting opportunity work on a big exhibition project coming to Perth soon

This would be a 6-month contract position, reporting to the PR Communications and Media Manager.

**Your new role**
- Ticketing pre-promotion and pre-sales
- Heavy upfront PR focus for the exhibition announcement launch and roll-out across various media and marketing platforms.
- Experiential and Commercial PR support - There is an “experience” attached to this exhibition. We request a strategy to sit alongside the exhibition PR that ensures maximum exposure for the artist and associated experiences. This should translate to tickets sales for the exhibition and events.
- Identifying niche PR opportunities to promote all aspects of the exhibition and associated events.
- Coordination of social content and works alongside the organisation’s internal Digital and Socials Content Producer to ensure social content is across the necessary channels.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Skills, Knowledge and Experience _

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Prior experience in State or Federal Government publishing, journalism, or communications would be highly advantageous
- Proven experience in public relations or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with a particular focus on writing and editing communication publications, articles, media statements and material for online environments.
- Good interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability in managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience in working as a member of a team and independently with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Desirable Selection Criteria _
- Tertiary qualifications in public relations, journalism, media, communications or relevant discipline.
- Previous experience within Arts industry
