**As Procurement Officer you will be**:

- providing assistance on complex matters and support technical procurement activities to enable the team to deliver professional support to customers to realise business outcomes from social investment activities.
- developing and influencing stakeholder relationships including internal clients, suppliers, industry, and public sector bodies.
- participating in and coordinating market engagement processes (e.g., tenders, expressions of interest and invitations to offer) and evaluation panels to ensure planning and tendering processes comply with probity and audit requirements.
- providing comprehensive procurement advice, analyse issues, make recommendations for solutions and support evaluation criteria to determine value for money in a principles-based procurement policy environment to create efficiencies and achieve cost reductions in line with government needs.
- preparing and defining accurate, concise, complete, and targeted communications (written and verbal) in support of procurement implementation solutions and business as usual activities
- Supporting and helping maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.
