Feedlot Manager

Our client operates a 4000 head cattle feedlot near Moree in NSW Australia and is seeking experienced Feedlot Manager to lead the operation. The feedlot is currently expanding to a 10000 facility. It is run conjunction with a large grazing and dryland and irrigated cropping enterprise.

Responsibilities and criteria include:
Management / supervision of daily feedlot operations including daily stock activities, feeding and milling departments, contractors and maintenance teams Assist in feedlot expansion to 10,000 head (currently at 4,000) Ability to utilise data tracking and analysis tools to track and manage livestock, plant and equipment Experience / knowledge with working and processing cattle within a feedlot environment Extensive animal husbandry knowledge and skills Experience in directing and overseeing a range of operational activities within both the Livestock and Operations functions
