- Act as a professional resource who plans, develops and co-ordinates the delivery of education courses/programs within the hospital.
- Ensures safe and effective clinical practice that follows best practice.
- Works in partnership with the nurse education team in the coordination and delivery of hospital wide education programs.
- Supervises staff compliance to annual mandatory training and completion of eLearning components.
- Contributes to and participates in the education of all clinical staff by being involved in orientation, in servicing, clinical competence programs and quality improvement practices.
- Contributes to the development and updating of policies and procedures.
- Supports and supervises new graduate and undergraduate Registered nurses.
**About You**
You will be a positive role model, who demonstrates highly developed communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities. You will also possess:
- Relevant registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 3 years post registration experience, plus experience in any relevant specialty area
- Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment
- Previous experience in education design, delivery, and evaluation
- Proven teaching skills in individual, small and large group settings / formal and information settings
- Desirable _
- Completion of a Preceptorship program
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications
**Remuneration**
A base hourly rate ranging from **$49.83 - $53.57 **+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4) [FTE $98,466.81 - $105,858.53].
