About the RACGP
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is the voice of general practitioners (GPs) in our growing cities and throughout rural and remote Australia. For more than 60 years, we’ve supported the backbone of Australia’s health system by setting the standards for education and practice and advocating for better health and wellbeing for all Australians.

We foster the future of general practice through our profession-led, community-based training model for the Australian General Practice Training Program and other training pathways. We train GPs to deliver quality, whole-person care to patients across Australia, support their ongoing professional development and provide a point of connection for GPs serving communities in every corner of the country.

About you
As our Workforce Planning Data Administrator, you’ll have excellent time management skills enabling you to handle sensitive issues and coordinating workloads that are time critical. To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
previous experience supporting management ideally with project management skills
strong planning and organisational skills with demonstrated ability to work flexibly to deadlines on multiple tasks/projects
strong commitment to customer service
strong data reporting and analysis skills (using Excel including Pivot tables and working with customer relations management system ) and verbal communication skills
advanced word and PowerPoint skills
confidence to present information to team members
experience preparing letters, reports, minutes, and submissions
experience of using HeadsUPP desirable but not essential

About the opportunity
Reporting to the Workforce Planning Manager, you’ll be providing high level data reporting, data triage, administration and secretariat support to the Workforce Planning management team, whilst contributing to the successful delivery within GP Training. In addition, you’ll:
provide high level data reporting, administrative, secretariat and diary management support
manage and prioritise workflows to ensure that meeting reports, minutes and correspondence and matters for attention are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
effectively collaborate and communicate with the Regional and local GP Training Program Management and Medical Education teams
provide secretariat support to the various sub-committees and working groups as required with regional stakeholders who inform selection, placement and workforce needs regionally and locally
