Alzheimer's Queensland (AQ) is a leader within aged care services, currently providing residential, community and home care services within Southeast Queensland and northern New South Wales.

A new opportunity has arisen for a Full Time Quality and WHS Officer to maintain smooth operations of the Community Aged Care team.

Critical to your success in this busy office environment, you will require excellent time management skills and attention to detail with a passion for compliance. Your communication style, pleasant phone manner and impeccable customer service delivery will set you apart, liaising with management, care staff and service providers.

**_ Role responsibilities:_**
- Training and education - development of annual training schedules and annual training days. Oversight of annual training days ensuring all documents are completed and returned and follow up non-attendance. Identify areas of employee knowledge that require further learning/competency development and ensuring its inclusion in monthly/annual training
- Download and coordinate online education
- Document upload, reporting on compliance within hour HR Management system
- Designated superuser for Home Care Manager (iCare), troubleshooting issues, creation of users and licence management and reporting as required
- Monthly DSS/DEX data cleanse and upload
- Audit reporting including Quality indicator report
- Develop team members knowledge and understanding of expectations of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Maintain Plan for Continuous improvement (PCI) and Self Assessment in collaboration with the team
- COVID - complete risk determination for clients and staff, drafting communications
- RAT testing coordination
- WHS - representee for WHS meetings
- Incident and feedback data input for all staff, assistance with closure and follow up
- Form development and review - provide guidance and input
- Regular Audits across both CHSP and HCP program
- Risk and gap analysis
- Maintain accurate records and documentation consistent with policy, procedure and legislation
- SIRS - training and communications to staff, contractors and clients.
- Orientation coordination

**_ Role Skills & Attributes_**
- Experience within aged community care
- Exposure to Auditing and WHS an advantage
- Advanced Computer skills proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint
- Strong administration and coordination experience within a busy office environment
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to proofread and format documents to a high professional standard
- Well-developed communication skills - both verbal & written
- Ability to work autonomously
- Demonstrated ability to work with various databases
