About the divisionLAQ's Corporate Services division plays an important role managing financial, physical and human resources, and is responsible for business analysis, information technology, the law library, governance, freedom of information, compliance and review and records management functions.
Our People, Culture and Capability team is recruiting for an experienced HR Workforce Analytics Consultant. As the Principal Consultant - Analysis and Reporting you will be responsible for preparing regular and ad hoc internal and external reporting, and undertaking complex investigation and analysis of data from various systems and sources. This role is for 12 months with the possibility of extension.
Your advice and contribution helps identify workforce issues, manage risks and inform organisational decision making.

**What you will do**:

- extract, collate, analyse and present Workforce and HR data and findings
- design and generate complex reports for management, the Board, Committess and the Executive team
- research, identify and provide advice on key issues and trends, forecast and benchmark for workforce planning and risk management.
- manage and respond to internal and external requests for complex data, analysis and reports - including preparing data for estimates and organisational reporting requirements.

We are looking for a skilled workforce / hr data analysist who has:

- Relevant demonstrated experience in a HR data reporting and analytics role.
- Data analysis and data visualisation experience using business intelligence tools.
- Advanced MS Office particularly Excel and/or Power BI.
- Ability to lead and participate in projects involving a range of stakeholders and prioritise projects and tasks efficiently in line with team commitments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
