**The Role**:
You will promote a strong risk and compliance culture through providing formal and informal training and ongoing support to team members. You will manage the incident process, including raising incidents, root cause analysis and resolution, and provide risk assessment support to relevant strategic projects.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Support compliance with APRA’s CPS 220 and related guidance.
- Implement and imbed the BankVic enterprise Risk Management Framework, including risk identification, control identification, risk assessments and control testing.
- Review all advertising, member communications, and other relevant documents.
- Review new and changed disclosure documents including Financial Services Guide, Credit Guide, Terms and Conditions, and Key Fact Sheets.
- Establish and implement control treatment plans as required to return risks to within appetite.
- Produce periodic reporting through to the Risk Management Committee, and as required by the Board risk Committee.
- Support Chief Growth & Experience Officer complete relevant risk management declarations through providing analysis to support declarations.
- Coordinate and assist with Internal audit reviews, 2nd line assurance reviews, and independent reviews, including issue remediation.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Relevant related tertiary qualification and post graduate accreditations.
- Extensive experience in risk partnering within a risk and/or compliance function in Financial Services.
- Experience reporting to Senior Management and preparing reports on risk management and internal audit activities.
- Experience in monitoring and overseeing business risks from project initiatives.
- Experience in product, marketing, retail banking (lending or operations) and insurance, including familiarity with ACL and AFSL regulatory requirements will be highly regarded.
- An understanding of all relevant legislation impacting Retail Banking customer data will be highly regarded.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
- Ability to identify risk and controls, documenting and providing solutions where necessary.
- Experience running risk workshops, communicating risks and controls to technical and non-technical audiences.
