**About the Role**
We have an exciting leadership opportunity for a Head of Regulatory Engagement to join our team on a permanent basis.

The role has the primary accountability for the oversight and management BOQ Group’s interactions, engagements and communication with key regulators. This includes leading a team to produce and govern information being reported to regulators and disseminate information and correspondence issued by regulators.

A critical component of the role is monitoring commitments to regulators and effectively engaging with key stakeholders across the business to report meaningfully, accurately and in a timely manner to maintain positive and transparent relationship with Regulators.

This is a critical role to ensure effective governance around engagement with regulators for the BOQ Group and requires strong relationship management skills with both key internal and external stakeholders.

**About you**
We're looking for a passionate and relationship focused individual who also possesses the following:

- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law and/or Finance.
- Experience in working for a regulator would be viewed favourably.
- Relevant experience and knowledge in banking and financial services legislations, regulations and prudential obligations including market, operational and credit risk.
- Demonstrated capability as finance or compliance representative in the financial services or banking industry, including first or second line risk.
