The Company is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia and has support offices in the UK, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Guatemala, and Bahamas.
The Marketing team is responsible for growing brand awareness, running effective performance marketing activity, and delivering automated CRM programmes to improve client retention. The team also works collaboratively with the Sales, Partners, and IT teams to continually deliver improvements in client and partner experience and to also provide team members with a great knowledge base of the company and the broader financial services industry.
Purpose of the Position
This role is pivotal to the successful launch of a new media brand, The Trading Battle (TTB) with the goal of building a global audience by turning trading into a spectator sport. We aim to entertain our audience while educating them about the craft of trading financial markets and will feature a range of traders from seasoned experts to brand name influencers with little to no experience. The battles will be live-streamed on our own web properties and partner sites with highlights amplified via social channels post recording. This is an ambitious project to build a global media brand in the niche category of trading which is ripe for disruption.
We are looking for an experienced Producer to join our team to help produce these high-quality entertaining episodes of TTB. From pitching and recruiting participants to managing their entire experience we need someone who has an eye for great content, an effective communicator who can build relationships and someone who can work in a fast-paced environment with a 'can do' attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary planner for the launch of The Trading Battle as a global media brand, including delivering a season of episodes across multiple regions and time zones to attract a global audience.
- Develop and execute the TTB content strategy to produce each episode in the style and essence as directed by both the Creative Director and Show Runner.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the project requirements and goals.
- Assisting the Marketing Manager with idea generation and developing new formats for media brand.
- Working with the TTB team to produce a season of high-quality episodes, i.e. working with hosts, influencers, media partners and regional support to bring the TTB brand to life and attract a large-scale, highly engaged, global audience.
- Prepare regular analytics reports to measure the effectiveness of the live streams and YouTube episodes and create useful analysis and feedback on how we can keep improving.
- Collaborating closely with external stakeholders i.e. TTB guests as well as our Partners team to ensure success.
- Liaising with the Partners team around identified prospective business opportunities.
- Overseeing and maintaining the production schedule and ensuring the pre-production run sheet is kept up-to-date and circulated among team members.
- Running the technical aspects of TTB, including ensuring the live streams run seamlessly, firing up the countdown for each episode, uploading the overlays to the episodes, running the scoreboard during the live stream, engaging with the audience via the live chat functionality and ensuring that the live stream is then uploaded to the marketing google drive.
- Provide recommendations for guests concerning audio, lighting, digital and streaming requirements, props, and aesthetics.
- Having a finger on the pulse of the latest tools, technologies and trends that can be utilised from across the media and entertainment sector.
- Occasionally creating scripts for hosts or one-off pay-per-views for a variety of platforms and audiences.
