**The Role**

The College is looking to grow the brass programme in 2024, and we are seeking an experienced and talented
**Brass Instrumental Tutor** to commence Term 1, 2024. The tutor will be required to teach both upper and lower brass including trumpet, cornet, trombone, French horn, euphonium and tuba. This position is a casual contract, term time arrangement.
- 2-3 hours private tutoring each week with a view to grow
- 3 hours a week of beginner Yr 4 and 5 group lessons (4-5 students)
- 1-2 hours a week of paired or trio lessons
- ½ hour per week for brass ensemble
- Availability on a Tuesday is required

**To be successful, you will**:

- Demonstrate experience and passion in building a brass ensemble programme would be favourable
- Demonstrate previous experience in brass maintenance
- Demonstrate previous experience in a school or learning environment
- Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and contribute to a positive working environment
- Be able to quickly and genuinely build rapport with all members of the College community
