The Role
The College seeks an experienced and talented
Instrumental Tutor - Woodwind, to commence Term 1, 2024. The tutor will be required to teach both oboe and bassoon. This position is a casual contract, term time arrangement.
- Small group and individual tuition of oboe and bassoon as required from beginner to intermediate level for students aged Year
- Year 10; an opportunity to create and direct an oboe and bassoon ensemble; approximately 4 hours each week.
- It is preferred that the tutor is available on Tuesdays as part of the Year 4 Instrumental Program.
To be successful, you will:
- Demonstrate experience and passion in building a woodwind programme would be favourable.
- Strong background in oboe and bassoon, including advanced knowledge of playing techniques, repertoire and instrument maintenance.
- Demonstrate previous experience in a school or learning environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and contribute to a positive working environment
- Be able to quickly and genuinely build rapport with all members of the College community.
