Sydney, Australia Main Sequence Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as the primary point of contact for portfolio company leaders and their HR teams, providing strategic guidance, talent acquisition advisory and people and culture expertise to support their growth and success.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices that align with Main Sequence's mission, values, and culture.
- Provide guidance and advice on organisational design, talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and compensation and benefits to portfolio companies.
- Partner with portfolio companies to develop and execute onboarding, training, and development programs for employees.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to ensure portfolio companies are meeting their goals and objectives and recommend necessary adjustments to improve performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners to support Main Sequence's talent acquisition and People and Culture initiatives.
- Partner with Main Sequence's leadership team to develop and execute People and Culture initiatives to support the firm's growth and internal team.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR/People and Culture experience with a focus on talent management, acquisition and organizational development
- Experience with working with startups or Venture Capital firms and Global experience is tech industry preferred
- Knowledge of employment laws, compliance and regulations in Australia.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with competing deadlines.
