Learning Improvement Group commissions, develops and delivers programs that improve educational standards, the quality of teaching and learning in NSW schools, and provides support for children and students.

**About the role**

The Contracts Officer manages contract creation, execution and analysis in accordance with the Contract Management Plan and approved procedures, to achieve delivery of contractual obligations to agreed standards and maximum impact.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of contract management plans by sourcing documents and established contracts, as well as monitoring performance and addressing non-performance, to achieve the required contract outcomes
- Administer contracts in accordance with approved Contract Management Plans and procedures and update contract details to maintain the integrity of contract information
- Interpret and explain contract requirements, and terms and conditions to stakeholders to support compliance with statutory and policy requirements and inform decision-making.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Hold a valid clearance to work with Children (Working with Children Check)

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
