Wenona is seeking an organised and enthusiastic Library Assistant to join our vibrant school community. This role is integral to the effective and efficient delivery of its library services, supporting the teaching and learning of students and the Wenona community.

**The Position**:
The Library Assistant plays an important role in being the first point of contact for student and staff in a library context and will provide direct customer service to support the Wenona community.

Key priorities for the role include:

- Being the first point of contact for student and staff.
- Undertaking library focused duties, including all aspects of circulation; shelving; weeding and processing of new resources.
- Assisting Teacher Librarians with preparing informative materials for lessons.
- Developing and delivering presentations to students on promotional programs, events, displays and digital presence.
- Coordinating the stocktake of library collection.

This position is during the school term time only and working hours will be between 7:30am to 6:00pm depending on the needs of the School.

This role requires the successful applicant to hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check and to be fully COVID vaccinated.

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will bring an enthusiastic, and collaborative approach and have a passion for the education space. This role requires the successful person to be highly organised with the ability to multitask and balance competing priorities. You will have strong interpersonal skills and eagerness to deliver excellent customer service to help our students and staff and be committed to supporting the values of Wenona as you undertake your role.

Experience working within a Library or School setting will be highly regarded.
