**Who are we looking for?**

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join Marketing and Communication, Chancellery Division.

The Digital Marketing Specialist (Data Management and Insights) will spearhead data hygiene and governance, and be responsible for generating actionable behavioural insight and trends from CRM data. You will be part of a small digital marketing team responsible for collecting and organising customer data, generating insight from customer and performance data, and building digital nurture journeys to meet the university’s student recruitment goals.

**About the area**

The Marketing and Communication Department is responsible for:

- Building and protecting QUT’s brand and reputation
- Engaging and recruiting future students
- Ensuring communications from QUT are effective and of high professional standard.

As well as professional services provided to the university community, the Department is responsible for a variety of corporate communication functions and oversees relevant policies, protocols and governance arrangements..

**What you need to succeed**
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a degree in digital marketing, data science, e-commerce or marketing with extensive relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in planning digital campaigns and lead nurturing tactics to achieve campaign and university goals, including strategy development, budget allocation, and alignment with digital and offline channels.
- Demonstrated digital literacy and experience in using databases, CRM, and campaign or marketing automation software to target, schedule, and automate digital marketing and lead nurture campaigns.
- Demonstrated experience in using data, insights, and reporting software such as Google Analytics, Data Studio, and MS Excel, to continually improve digital campaigns and assets.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with spam, privacy and trade practices acts.
- Demonstrated ability to connect, collaborate and communicate with key client stakeholders including experience cultivating and maintaining excellent relationships across organisational boundaries, including at senior level.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and independently to meet deadlines.
