**Pre-Employment Checklist**:
To join Bedrock, you will need:
- Qualification or Tertiary Education Certificate in Psychology, Mental Health, Counselling, Social Work, or a related field (completed or currently studying).
- National Police Check (or willing to obtain).
- Working with Children’s Check (or willing to obtain).
- Current Australian Driver’s License and ownership/on-demand use of a roadworthy vehicle.
- Mental Health First Aid Certificate (preferable but not mandatory).
**Your Role**:
As a Psychosocial Support Worker at Bedrock, you’ll be providing support to individuals living with mental health conditions, helping them to lead fulfilling lives. You’ll work closely with individuals in their homes and in the community, assisting them to achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life. Your work will be person-centred, empowering individuals to navigate daily challenges, develop their strengths, and build resilience.
**Compensation**:
This part-time casual role offers a base salary starting from $36.00 per hour (plus superannuation) on weekdays, with higher rates for weekends and evening shifts. Employees who consistently demonstrate capability and reliability over a 6-month to one-year period will be rewarded with increased pay rates, reflecting their experience and commitment. For those bringing significant experience to Bedrock, progression may be fast-tracked based on demonstrated capability and performance.
