**ABOUT THE DIVISION**

We are a central agency in the Australian Public Service (APS) and play a key role in supporting the government's agenda. Our responsibility for advancing public sector reform is delivering excellence and value - ultimately enabling the government of the day to deliver and provide for all Australian citizens. We drive the delivery of the Australian Government’s Budget, supporting all agencies through the process and providing critical advice to the Government on all new policies and programs. The ICT Division of Finance is a key enabler of this role through delivering robust and secure ICT infrastructure with capabilities designed to foster mobility, collaboration and innovation.

**ABOUT THE** OPPORTUNITY**

We’re looking for motivated, keen and suitable IT undergraduate students commencing their full-time second year in the beginning of 2024 to help deliver a high standard of support to Finance clients through the Service Centre and Self-Service Portal. You will receive on-the-job training including in the Service Desk Analyst role which could lead to providing first level support and request fulfilment through taking calls and Live Chat.

As a casual APS Level 2 employee you will receive an hourly rate based on an annual salary of $61,390 plus a 25 per cent loading in lieu of leave (excluding long service leave) and public holidays on which you are not rostered to work. Casual positions are of an intermittent nature with hours and working days varying as required.
