Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) is looking a Business Administration Trainee wanting to take on part-time work (15 hours per week).

You will assist the administration team within daily operations. This employer is a NDIS provider with a mission to close the gap and support vulnerable people within the community to have better opportunities in life.

**DUTIES WILL INCLUDE**

As the face of our organisation, your role is crucial in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. You'll be the first point of contact for visitors, families, and individuals with disabilities, making your communication and interpersonal skills invaluable assets.

Duties that you will be assisting the team in are:

- Answering phone calls
- Making phone calls
- Administrative duties
- Liaising with allied health professionals and NDIS clients
- Report writing
- Scheduling and rostering appointments

**SKILLS YOULL AQUIRE**
- Effective Communication: Develop strong communication skills to engage with individuals with disabilities, families, and colleagues.
- Problem Solving: Learn to handle unexpected situations with grace and find solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Organisational Excellence: Master administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, record keeping, and maintaining a welcoming reception area.
- Empathy and Inclusivity: Cultivate a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and create an environment of empathy and respect.
- Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with all staff to ensure the smooth operation of the workplace.

**TRAINEESHIP INFORMATION**

This traineeship duration will be 24 months of part-time work (15 hours per week) which includes 3 hours paid study time to work toward completing your Certificate III in Business.
- This position has the opportunity to increase to full-time work for the right person._

**CAREER PATHWAYS**

By undertaking this traineeship, you will have the great opportunity to gain real work experience in the business industry and work toward obtaining your Certificate III in Business. Having this qualification can offer you experience for other job roles such as:
