Sydney, Australia E&P Financial Group Full time

The Company

E&P Financial Group (E&P) is an ASX-listed financial services business with an international network of experienced industry specialists working across wealth management, SMSF accounting, corporate advisory, institutional sales and trading, research, and funds management.

E&P has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, New Jersey and Hong Kong and has over $20 billion of funds under advice.

As a provider of high-quality, market-leading financial advice for private clients, institutional clients and corporates, we value long-term client partnerships, and our people are the cornerstone of those relationships - regardless of whether they have day-to-day contact with clients.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated IT professional to join our Sydney CBD office team in our internal IT Operations team. This is a newly created position and would suit someone with 2-3 years of professional experience.

Reporting to and working closely with our Director of IT Support (based in Melbourne), you will perform the critical first point of contact function for our Sydney office staff (approx.130 staff) and liaise with, triage/escalate, and ensure SLAs are met by our Managed Service Provider (MSP). The MSP also provides augmented onsite support.

You will assist IT Operations and the Director of Facilities & Procurement with Sydney office basic network/video conferencing/IT requirements including assisting the MSP with desk moves as they arise (95% of staff have a standardized dock/monitors/laptop configuration so this is not a large or frequent part of the role).

You will also assist the internal IT Operations team with project work as required, and as part of your role act as a cyber security analyst assisting the Director of Cyber Security daily.

About You

You will have the ability to work proactively and unsupervised, including providing hands on support to external MSP when required.

Ideally you would be interested in the criticality of cyber security and willingness to get into the detail of the essential monitoring around it (training regarding the strategy and tooling will be provided - no existing cyber security experience required).

**Required Skills**:

- Knowledge and Experience working with Windows Operating Systems (workstation and server).
- Experience working with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory for permission changes and user management.
- Knowledge and experience working with video conferencing (including but not limited to Microsoft teams and zoom).
- Excellent time management including the ability to prioritize critical incidents.
- Any previous experience working with Microsoft Compliance and Security centers would be highly regarded.
- Previous experience working with financial services highly regarded.

The Benefits

Our focus on your career and development is genuine, and our established structure supports the on-the-job learning experience you expect. Working with us means you get to work with an exceptional team and learn from and collaborate with some of the best in the business. We believe success breeds success.

We want to take care of you, so you can take care of our clients Our state-of-the art offices are equipped with a selection of healthy breakfast options and each year you’ll receive an annual fitness rebate which you can use in a way that suits you.

We know our people work hard, so we offer an active social and sporting calendar to ensure the balance of work and social is just right. We take our responsibilities to staff, clients, and community seriously and as an equal opportunity employer, value inclusion and diversity.
