Mechanical Operator

**The Opportunity**:
Are you an experienced Mechanic Operator or have a passion for mechanics and want to gain experience within renewable energy and landfill gas, come join our supportive and friendly teams based in Tarago, NSW 2580.

As a Mechanic Operator you will be responsible for operating, maintaining and servicing gas engines, plants and equipment at Woodlawn.

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- To service maintain and repair engines and equipment within the powerstation
- Complete scheduled daily work tasks as directed by the Maintenance Plan, with guidance from Supervisor/Leading Hand in an efficient and timely manner
- Complete work orders, monitor stocks and part requisitions daily
- Record, monitor power station operation while conducting preventative or breakdown maintenance

**What you'll need to be successful**:

- Australian recognised Automotives / Diesel / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic's trade certificate.
- Proven mechanical knowledge and is willing to continuously improve mechanical skills in an operating power station/ experience within the automotive repair industry.
- Open to recent graduates, Diesel Fitters or Light Vehicle Mechanics looking to upskill in gas engine power station and or gain experience within the waste industry.

Willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance and medical check relevant to the role.
