Place Coordinator

**THE POSITION**: The Place Coordinator leads, participates in, coordinates and evaluates diverse and sensitive projects for which the Place Management Branch is accountable. This position facilitates quality improvements to the visual environment, and the implementation of revitalisation and promotional plans/projects, for the town centres.

**ESSENTIAL**:

- Tertiary Qualifications in one or more of the following professional disciplines, Marketing, Public Relations, Event Management.
- Demonstrated project management skills including financial and human resources management skills.
- Demonstrated skills in policy, planning, process and quality improvement with a strong focus on strategic outcomes.
- Please note that this role requires mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 at Fairfield City Council. All applicants must be vaccinated (and provide proof - cited vaccination certificate).

**DESIRABLE**:

- Experience working in a Place Management Team or place management service area

**SALARY & EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS**:

- Permanent position, 70 hours per fortnight
- This position is a Grade 6, salary range is $89,415 p.a. with progression to $98,698 p.a. on demonstrated competencies, with performance progression to $104,738 p.a.
- Flexible working hours are available.
- A Motor Vehicle allowance of $10,450 p.a. is available.
- A mobile telephone is provided.
