Part of the CSR family, our Logistics Business Unit has been created to embed leading practice logistics & supply chain solutions across CSR to establish a platform for growth capability, customer service and efficiency. Our aim is to improve safety, service, people, and costs whilst contributing to, and delivering the strategic change for the benefit of CSR and our customers.

This is a key role within our Western Australian business that manages one of our dynamic teams across CSR and are on the search for a strong, influential leader who can elevate the logistics space and drive change across the team.

**About the role**:
The Logistics Manager is a full time, permanent position, based at our Welshpool site.

Reporting to GM Logistics Interior Systems, this role is responsible for managing our Welshpool warehouse and freight operations to deliver outstanding customer service, lead the implementation of operational excellence, develop people and create a high performing team, improve safety, measure performance and deliver financial outcomes

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Accountable for the management of the operation and managing a team of 4 Direct Reports and 16 Indirect Reports.
- Relentlessly promote a safe system of operation in the workplace with a goal of Zero Harm and ensure all hazards, incidents, accidents, injuries and near misses are reported accurately.
- Develop an annual budget, provide forecast inputs and manage logistics activity to budget/forecast.
- Manage industrial agreements to achieve appropriate commercial and performance outcomes and flexibility for future Supply Chain changes.
- Collaborate with team and stakeholders to develop ideas, prioritise initiatives and implement solutions to improve safety, service, people and costs.
- Drive all major investigations regarding customer complaints and safety incidents to ensure they are addressed immediately.
- Maintain high standards in housekeeping, safety, inventory management and customer service.
- Identify, implement, and monitor appropriate KPIs and ensure robust measurement and reporting in place to communicate performance and progress.

**About You**:

- 5+ years in a similar role with direct logistics operational experience.
- Demonstratable delivery of successful tactical Logistics improvements.
- Active, hands-on execution approach.
- Experience in delivering changes within a Logistics environment.
- Proven high quality leadership skill.
- Capable of managing a diverse team with varying levels of experience.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
