**The Role & Project**

MACA is excited to offer a permanent Logistics Supervisor position in our warehouse in Welshpool, working Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Supervisor will take a positive approach to ensure the smooth allocation of deliveries in an efficient and timely manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordination of general freight and transport.
- Lead a small team of Storepersons and an Administrator.
- Involvement in yard operations.
- Complying with MACA workplace safety policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Supervising daily tasks and functions, e.g. timely processing/picking/dispatch of orders.
- Ensure compliance with national and site safety systems, procedures, and policies to ensure that daily operation is in a safe work environment.

**We are looking for**:

- Experience in a similar position co-ordinating general freight and transport.
- Forklift ticket is essential.
- HR Licence.
- Chain of Responsibility, Load Restraint and Dangerous Goods Training.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong commitment to safety in the workplace.
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel & Word.
