**About the Department of Education**:
School and Region Reviews (SRR) supports continuous improvement in Queensland state delivered kindergartens, state schools and education centres providing leadership and oversight for the program of school and emerging system and place-based reviews.

**Your Role**:
As the Manager, you will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive communications strategy for the branch supporting the successful implementation of reviews, capability development and distribution of research publications.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Provide high-level policy advice and guide the strategic management of communications and engagement for the School and Region Reviews.
- Lead the planning and implementation of communications activities for the branch, with a focus on supporting the successful implementation of school and region reviews, research and capability development.
- Manage communication and engagement activities ensuring consultation and coordination with key stakeholders.
- Lead the communications team ensuring efficient and effective, client-focused service delivery.
- Prepare briefings and correspondence around policy and strategic communication issues.

**About You**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders, peers and staff at all levels to negotiate solutions and outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and achieve results within tight deadlines in an environment of change and evolution.
