We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Diabetes & Endocrinology team. This is a sessional part-time fixed term position, working between 7 to 14 hours per fortnight in Telehealth Clinics, based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, City Campus.
Your opportunity and responsibilities:

- To provide diligent and professional ambulatory care
- Participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Teamwork participation in department projects
- Involvement in high level quality activities and research
- Involvement in medical education
- Key relationships:

- Director Department Diabetes & Endocrinology
- Hospital Medical Officers, Registrars, and Consultant staff of Department of Diabetes and Endocrinology.
- Referring doctors within RMH
- Referring GPs and other doctors outside RMH
- Melbourne Medical School, University of Melbourne

About you - selection criteria:

- Essential_
- MBBS or equivalent
- FRACP Endocrinology or equivalent qualification.
- Medical Board of Australia registration as a medical practitioner with specialist registration in an appropriate sub-specialty such as Endocrinology.
- Postgraduate university research degree in a relevant field (endocrinology)
- Highly experienced in managing a full range of acute endocrine disorders and emergencies
- Highly experienced in managing a full range of chronic endocrine disorders including diabetes and osteoporosis
- Training and/or supervision in Endocrinology
- Personal area of interest in clinical care and research
- Desrirable_
- Experience in administering a clinical service
- Track record of attracting financial support for research and development activities.
