As a Full-time Long Distance Driver you will drive heavy (Road Ranger gearbox) vehicles over long distances, collecting and delivering freight between Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

When international air cargo touches down in Australia, we’re there to get it the rest of the way to its destination. Our interstate trucking services cover the domestic legs of international airfreight operations, driving between all the major cities from our hubs in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Coolangatta, Perth and Adelaide.

As the **Regional Customer and Business Manager (VIC & SA)** for Jets Transport, you will be responsible for all aspects of strategic customer, operational and transformation management against agreed service level agreements and the management of business improvement initiatives to improve customer proposition and deliver cost savings. This position also has overall responsible for the leadership and effective management of the Qantas Road Express operations and will ensure effective, efficient and quality customer service.

**You will have**:

- Demonstrated people leadership skills experience including performance management, coaching, mentoring and development of staff within an operational environment
- Proven record of successfully managing change and implementing continuous improvement activities
- Ability to engage and influence people through communication and leadership skills
- Concise understanding of all aspects of operational, safety, security and emergency procedures as applicable in Ground Operations
- Commercially focused with the ability to correctly assess the impact of decisions on business outcomes
- Demonstrated commitment to OHS&E principles in the workplace
- Broad understanding across all aspects of an airline, with specific airport related experience in operations, compliance, service, systems used and product offerings.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and gain support for strategic goals
- Demonstrated high level of computer literacy (especially Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience in trucking industry will be highly regarded
- Eligibility to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
