**About the team**:
To understand our merchandising, we need to understand our customers. That’s why you’ll find us working across all business units at Coles Supermarkets and liquor. Supermarkets is one of the largest teams at Coles, but we’re a close-knit group that come from all over the world. We’re passionate about working at the forefront of merchandising and making sure our customers have quality products at the right price.

**About the role**:
As a Merchandise Planner as part of the wider Health & Home portfolio and within the events team. You will work cross-functionally to ensure all stores have optimal stock levels and the appropriate product combination to achieve the sales, gross profit, and stock targets in line with our strategy.

Utilising your proven analytical skills, you will provide recommendations to the category strategy, based on insight and trends. You will ensure the right products are in the right stores, at the right time.

**About you and your skills**:
You will be joining a dedicated team and partner with varied stakeholders across this portfolio. Bringing your experience with working with hard goods will be beneficial.
- Prior experience within a Merchandise Planning role, or similar
- Organised, self-motivated and strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate and influence effectively across all areas of the business
- Experience in confidently presenting to senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to partner with multiple stakeholders and effectively manage expectations.
- Advanced excel skills
