**About the team**:
To understand our merchandise business, we need to understand our customers. That’s why you’ll find us working across all business units at Coles Supermarkets, Liquor and Coles Local. Supermarkets is one of the largest teams at Coles, but we’re a close-knit group that come from all over the world. We’re passionate about working at the forefront of merchandising and making sure our customers have quality products at the right price.
**About the role**:
Reporting into the Space Manager you will focus on Space Planning and Micro Space. Working with a broad stakeholder group you will build efficient and effective planograms which deliver space optimisation that align to our business principles. You will:
- Play a pivotal role in the transformation of space planning across the fresh BU’s, including key projects across Deli/Seafood, Meat and Bakery departments.
- Compile and manage planograms on a National and State level to the standards required by the business.
- Deliver customer centric, commercially, and operationally efficient planograms within set timelines
- Provide detailed shelf analysis to category managers along with recommendations which improve self-efficiencies and return on space (ROS)
- Work collaboratively with category managers and key stakeholders, delivering planograms that are both customer centric and aligned to category strategy
- Ensure data integrity of planograms and product library

**About you and your skills**:
In this permanent full-time role, you will certainly share your passion about space and will have genuine impact in the work you will do. - Intermediate knowledge of space management tools (preferably JDA Space Planning/Blue Yonder, or have worked with another similar space management software)
- An understanding of shelf management principles and supermarket merchandising processes
- Excellent analytical and Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Robust attention to detail and organisation skills
- Able to manage multiple projects with a key focus on timeline delivery
- Enthusiasm, can do attitude and willing to learn new skills
