**ABOUT THE ROLE**

responsible for developing, co-ordinating and delivering engagement solutions which effectively communicate and promote the objectives of the Health Care Complaints Commission and educate them about complaints handling to key stakeholders across NSW and build customer centrism, in the context of the Commission’s Customer Engagement Framework and its strategic plan and priorities.

**About you**:

- Promoting awareness and understanding of the Commission and involvement in shaping its processes and functions through innovative engagement practices.
- Co-ordination of proactive engagement and outreach events and partnerships with health service providers, community groups, health consumers services and advocates to build visibility of the Commission and strong understanding of the Commission’s powers, functions and processes.
- Manage the development, review, production and distribution of external Commission publications and electronic information - ensuring consistency in branding and corporate image and maximum consumer impact.
- Collaborate with operational areas of the Commission to develop and maintain information, presentation materials and other communication tools which explain the functions, operations and performance of the Commission.
- Establish and maintain strong connections with key stakeholder groups.
- Lead stakeholder engagement projects and initiatives to ensure effective engagement with health organisations, to improve local complaints management and foster patient centrism and to build community awareness of complaints management channels.

**Essential requirements**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in stakeholder engagement.
- Strong experience in the development of stakeholder engagement strategies and initiatives.
- Ability to communicate and present research and data in a clear and concise manner to a range of external stakeholder groups/ audiences.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a Background Verification Check which includes a National Police Check (Criminal History), qualification check, and Working with Children’s Check.
