Axil Coffee Roasters is a leading specialty coffee roastery and café established in Hawthorn in 2011.
We have expanded to 17 cafés with locations at Melbourne Airport, Chadstone Shopping Centre, The University of Melbourne, Melbourne Central and other locations in the CBD.

Home to the 2022 World Barista Champion Anthony Douglas and 2023 Australian Barista Champion Jack Simpson, we pride ourselves on building a great place to work and fostering talent and development.

We are on the hunt for an experienced Café Manager for an immediate start.
Applicants must have at least 3 years’ experience in a management role within hospitality or qualifications in hospitality management, knowledge of specialty coffee and a passion for good food.

We are looking for a leader who has:

- Motivation to take ownership of the position
- A key eye for detail
- The desire to build, develop and maintain a high-performing, well-rounded team
- A customer-centric approach
- Experience using a wide range of coffee making equipment including La Marzocco GB5, Mazzer Rober S, Mahlkonig E65s GBW, Mahlkonig EK43s and Ubermilk
- A desire to continuously learn, grow and progress within the company
- Be a team player who is happy to jump in and help in other areas of the café as required
