Fraud Technology is a part of our Group Security function and are accountable for the development, implementation and ongoing management of our Group’s Fraud technology platform.

The Fraud Platform’s purpose is to support the Group Fraud Management Services’ teams and their value proposition of providing world class detection and prevention of financial crime to safeguard our CommBank colleagues, customers and partners.

**In this Role**

As a Release Manager - DevOps you will an integral part of our function and play a pivotal role in ensuring the secure, risk mitigated and appropriately managed deployment of technology changes and updates across the platform, while maintaining the highest level of quality and reliability.

Through your comprehensive change management approach, you will be developing fit-for-purpose change interventions and solutions that deliver value and maximise change adoption. You will oversee the end-to-end release process, coordinating activities with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless deployments.

**In this role you will**
- Lead the end-to-end release process, including identifying potential risks during the release process and developing strategies to mitigate them effectively
- Implement and maintain rigorous testing procedures to guarantee the quality and stability of releases
- Prepare comprehensive release documentation, including release notes, known issues, and post-release reports
- Lead a small team of change delivery resources and contribute to the development of change objectives and measures of success
- Manage development, staging, and production environments, ensuring consistency and stability across all stages of the release cycle
- Continuously analyse and optimise the release process to enhance efficiency and reliability

**We're interested in hearing from people who have**
- Demonstrable success in a similar role ideally in a large corporate organisation
- Working knowledge of the ITIL best practice principals on IT Release Management
- Good knowledge of deployment tools like Team city, Octopusand CI/CD pipeline
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related discipline is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle, release automation, and version control systems
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple releases and projects concurrently
- Effective stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence positive outcomes at executive level
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail to ensure smooth releases
