Our client has grown in leaps and bounds and has offices in most mining regions within Australia. A leading manufacturer, they are committed to delivering the highest performing and lowest maintenance products.

They are now looking for an Operations Manager - Manufacturing, to join their team. The role’s purpose is to take the reins of 4 workshops across NSW & QLD. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll take full responsibility of production, engineering and design services, warehousing, quality, tender/contract management and estimation. You will need to standardize manufacturing across the states, and drive efficiencies across the warehouses.

This is an all-encompassing role that will see you taking ownership of operations and making your mark with a genuine opportunity to drive change across operations.

- Oversee and manage manufacturing operations across four warehouses, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to standardize manufacturing costs across the states.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and increase overall productivity.
- Assess equipment requirements, recommend upgrades, and implement solutions that align with business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of manufacturing professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to maintain and improve product quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

**More about you**:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Manager or similar role, with a successful track record in driving operational excellence.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing is desirable.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Understand the needs of client’s timeframes with the ability to be flexible to them
