**Position Information**:
Endeavour Sports High School embraces academic excellence as its number one priority. Endeavour is a designated Sports High School situated in the south of Sydney that has a student population of over 1200. The school has 30% of students from a language background other than English and 67 students identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

It is a comprehensive, co-educational high school which provides a caring, disciplined, well-resourced environment where all students can achieve their potential through quality teaching and learning. **Selection Criteria**:
Approval to teach students with learning and support needs (secondary) and experience teaching students with learning and support needs (secondary) in mainstream classes.

Capacity to provide specialist assistance to students with additional learning and support needs and their teachers.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with classroom teachers to differentiate curriculum and support assessment for learning, to provide for students with additional educational needs.

Demonstrated strength in interpersonal and communication skills, to build supportive relationships needed to work effectively and sensitively with students, as well as parents/carers, staff, and outside agencies in a caring, multidisciplinary team, to meet additional learning and wellbeing needs of students.

Lead the development, modification and implementation of student learning and support plans, experience in completing access requests for students requiring special placements and/or supports.
