**About the role**:

Are you ready to take on the challenge of being our Senior Finance Business Partner? This role is all about coordination and providing top-notch financial support, administration, advice, and compliance monitoring. You’ll be instrumental in driving our agency’s financial strategies and objectives forward.

Alternatively, you might be the perfect fit for our Principal Financial Analyst position. Here, you’ll delve into complex financial analysis, risk assessment, and due diligence, all aligned with our department’s strategic objectives. You’ll collaborate closely with business and project teams, providing invaluable financial insights for evaluating existing and potential commercial projects and economic development programs.

**Key Selection Criteria - For ASO6 Senior Finance Business Partner**
- Proven experience in coordination the development and delivery of a comprehensive range of financial services, management reporting and budgeting services and processes and demonstrated experience in developing and implementing financial management, budgeting and reporting improvement initiatives and processes.
- Significant experience in providing a broad range of specialist financial support including a responsive helpdesk function and analysing and contributing to senior level and critical submissions and financial system, process and policy review and development.

**Key Selection Criteria - For ASO7 Principal Fiancial Analyst**
- Significant experience planning, delivering and evaluating complex financial analysis and advisory programs and services including partnering with, and providing expert advice on business case development, funding requests, project management, grant management, risk management and financial management within a government context.
- Significant experience utilising a range of financial analysis techniques, models and evaluation processes, from a probity and risk perspective, and undertaking research to identify, address and report on risks to inform planning and risk management.
- Comprehensive and contemporary knowledge of business and financial analysis techniques and commercial trends, grant and financial assistance management and detailed knowledge of related government policy decision making processes and accountability systems.

**Remuneration**:
Competitive salary (ASO6$ 97,022 - $102,626 pa) plus 11% superannuation.

**Qualifications**:
Essential: an appropriate degree in accounting, finance or economics majoring in accounting.

Desirable: Membership to an accounting professional body.
