**About the role**:
This is a newly created role focused on providing high quality reporting, planning and analysis to support the achievement of Jumbo’s business objectives. You will be responsible for delivering high quality business performance reporting and insights, in order to optimise executive decision-making.

The role will work closely with the Head of Investor Relations, Head of Operations and Head of Finance, and is uniquely positioned to help drive business performance and assist in the development of communications to the market.

In Addition To:

- Providing accurate and timely financial information, insights and projections to Jumbo management, in particular operational management (COO, Head of Operations & Head of Investor Relations),
- Prepare accurate monthly financial/management reports and dashboards, assist in the preparation of presentations that provide thoughtful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made,
- Provide reliable data and ad-hoc analysis to be used in decision-making, planning and for external communication,
- Present the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units and departments,
- Analyse the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, and profit margin,
- Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement,
- Monitor KPIs and identify the cause of any unexpected variances,
- Partner directly with the finance team and operational management teams to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews,
- Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and forecasts,
- Develop financial models and analysis to support ongoing business performance management & progress on strategic initiatives,
- Support operational management teams and the Heads of Department with data-driven analysis including:

- Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions,
- Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organisation including M&A,
- Serve as key support to the Head of Investor Relations, managing the Group valuation model, compiling consensus, scenario planning, supporting the development of interim and full year results presentations, CEO/CFO presentations Q&A, etc

**What We Would Like You To Bring**:

- Five plus years post qualification experience in finance, accounting or a related field,
- Knowledge of accounting/financial/operational reporting principles,
- Experience in developing financial and operational reports and metrics (preferably in a mid-to-large size / ASX listed organisation),
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels,
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment,
- Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills,
- Attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture,
- Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organisation
