**Dispatch Manager**

As the Dispatch Manager, you will be responsible for managing the outbound operations of our warehouse, ensuring timely delivery of products and maintaining the highest standards of workplace health and safety.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Supervise the dispatch of products: You will oversee the handling, dispatch, and distribution of all outbound orders, ensuring they are processed within agreed service levels. You will optimize efficiency by establishing or adjusting staffing levels and assigning workloads effectively.
- Foster strong relationships: You will liaise with our transport providers and customers to ensure that customer service remains a top priority. Effective communication and relationship management will be key in meeting customer expectations and maintaining service levels.
- Drive continuous improvement: Identifying areas of improvement and implementing innovative work procedures will be crucial in optimizing warehouse efficiency, customer service, and personnel performance. You will work closely with the management team to implement authorized changes that drive continuous improvement.
- Supervise and develop staff: You will lead and motivate a team, providing feedback, managing performance, and ensuring effective communication. Training new employees and stakeholders will also be part of your responsibilities to maintain a skilled and cohesive workforce.
- Ensure workplace safety: Upholding all workplace health and safety requirements, including Chain of Responsibility (CoR), is paramount. You will ensure compliance with OHS policies, manual handling procedures, and relevant legislation, managing any non-compliance issues that may arise.
- Prioritize customer service: Collaborating with key stakeholders, you will proactively resolve operational issues, ensuring customer service and company objectives are never compromised. Timely escalation of potential issues to the Branch Manager will be essential.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Warehousing and Distribution qualification (desirable)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position (essential)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, thriving in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
