**What does the business unit do?**

The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria.

Technology Solutions is delivering the Data and Digital Reform Agenda, which focuses on meeting the departments data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting departmental outcomes.

**What will the role do?**

The Program Finance Lead manages and leads budget and finance administration operations for the program. The role will be responsible for providing transactional analysis and reporting on cost pressures to the Program Director. The Program Finance Lead also provides corporate and finance support across the program.

**What skills and knowledge should a Program Finance Lead have?**
- Proven experience working on a large complex program of work supporting multiple work streams implementing strategic financial processes and providing financial management oversight and advice aligned with corporate structure and standards
- Proven experience in the preparation of briefings and reports on complex financial issues using clear and concise language, organising information in a logical sequence, and including content appropriate for the audience
- An Accounting degree or other relevant tertiary qualifications are highly desirable.
