**JOB DESCRIPTION**
About the Role
Team Global Express is currently seeking a Dispatch Officer/Dispatch Coordinator to join our vibrant team in Murarrie (Brisbane). This is a Full Time, Permanent Position that provides you with the opportunity to utilise your skills and experience to coordinate deliveries with our key customers across Queensland.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- This is a Full Time Permanent position, 7.6 hours x 5 Days a week (6am Starts)
- Make pre-delivery telephone calls to key customers to ensure accuracy of information for all upcoming deliveries
- Input delivery times and dates into the FMS, and organise delivery runs utilising inhouse systems
- Communicate with key clients on a regular basis throughout the day to keep them updated on their delivery and also resolve any potential issues in a timely manner
- Be able to take ownership of any delivery issues and liaise with customers, drivers, store staff and any other key stakeholders in the process
- Ensure delivery runs are allocated daily and drivers line up efficiently with scheduling requirements
- Be responsible for the allocation of pick-ups through our dispatch systems, routing deliveries and communicating the run order to drivers
- Generate and manage weekly reports and be able to report on key information to various stakeholders throughout the business
- Must have previous experience using Microsoft Excel to a professional standard to generate and run reports
- Customer Service Experience is Preferred - This role will require you to build relationships with a broad and diverse range of staff and key clients in order to be successful in the role
- Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently
